Looking to eat seasonally? Or maybe you need some healthier meal ideas for July that add a bit of variety to your day-to-day? You will love these 30+ colorful and cool meal ideas that are mostly healthy and oh-so-tasty!

If you haven’t already been making lots of summer-ish foods, now’s your chance! Summer will be over before you know it and now’s the time to take advantage of what’s in season.

So grab a pen and paper and start writing down a list of meals you want to make this month. I’ve made it uber simple for you by giving you over 30 ideas that my family loves! Just scroll down to the bottom of this post to find the ideas.

Hawaiian chicken kabobs are easy and super tasty to boot!

If you don’t have time to make healthy food and you find yourself grabbing takeout or fast food a lot, just start spending 15 minutes every day preparing some food. I call this 15 minute meal prep because you just set the timer for 15 minutes and do one or two simple things that will make your life easier for meals. Give it a try, it really helps!

When summer rolls around, the last thing I want to be eating is a heavy meal straight from the oven. I want cold foods! We make so many smoothies and popsicles around here all summer long, it’s ridiculous. And we totally use all the different fruits available so our food is full of color!

Corn on the cob is the classic summer side dish, you can't go wrong here!

Tried-and-True Meal Ideas for July

Below you will find the list of meals and recipe ideas for July that we like to eat in our family.

Any recipe with a link is one that we love at our house. The ones with asterisks and links are recipes I’ve been meaning to try and haven’t yet. The recipe ideas without a link are ones we like but don’t have a specific recipe we follow.

One caveat, some of these recipes technically aren’t “healthy.” Use your own discretion. If it’s a muffin, it’s probably not healthy, unless it’s made without sugar.
