Prep Time 2 minutes
Cook Time 8 minutes
Servings 4 people

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp coconut oil divided
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt or popcorn salt, more to taste

Instructions

  1. Put 2 Tbsp coconut oil and 3 popcorn kernels in a large pot on the stove. Turn on the heat to medium high.

  2. Once the 3 kernels have all popped, turn off the heat, remove the pot from the heat, and take the popcorn out of the pot with a spoon.

  3. Now add the 1/2 cup popcorn kernels and shake the pot to coat them evenly in the oil. Put the lid on and wait 30 seconds.

  4. Put the pot back on the burner over medium heat. Keep the lid slightly ajar to allow steam to escape. Give the pot a shake once or twice and let the popcorn pop until there is a 5 second break between pops.

  5. Top with coconut oil (2-4 Tbsp) and sea salt (1/4-1/2 tsp).
