These oven fries are a breeze to throw together. The seasoning is spot on, and at just $0.32 a serving, why wouldn't you make these at least once a week?

Total Time 55 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 Tbsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp salt kosher
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp basil leaves
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1-2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 7 potatoes skins scrubbed and washed

Instructions

  1. Mix seasonings together in a bowl.
  2. Cut potatoes into wedges.
  3. Lay out a couple paper towels on the table and place the wedges one by one on the paper towels. Pat dry.

  4. Throw the dried wedges into a large stainless steel or glass bowl with 2 Tbsp. of the seasoning mixture and the olive oil. Mix well with your hands (I like to put gloves on for this part).

  5. Arrange the potatoes on a 9×13 baking sheet lined with foil, parchment paper, or a silicone baking mat.
  6. Throw into a 425F oven for 25 minutes. Pull out and flip potatoes over. Put back into oven and turn temperature down to 400 for another 10-15 minutes.
